Yankee CrossFit and CrossFit Revelation are proud to announce the 7th Annual Misfit Toys Throwdown!

The Misfit Toys Throwdown will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at CrossFit Revelation in Enfield, CT. The two person, same-sex team competition has sold out the past five years and we expect it to sell out again in 2017.  Space is limited so be sure to sign up ASAP.

RX, Scaled and Masters Divisions.

As was done in the past, we ask that each athlete bring a new, unwrapped toy on the day of the competition. Also per usual, we will be raising money for the Ben Callahan Foundation (bencallahan.org)

Each team will compete in three WODs. The top teams will move on to the fourth and final WOD.

Standards:
RX – should be comfortable with ALL barbell movements (including snatch) @ 135/95, although weights for simpler movements (deadlifts, power cleans) may be a little heavier. Also be able to perform for multiple reps – toes to bar, chest to bar pull-ups, box jumps @ 30/24, and double unders. Athletes who make the finals should be ready to do any CF movement.

MASTER (ONE DIVISION: 40+) – weights will fall in between RX and SCALED, so should proficient with all BB movements at 115/75. Athletes should also be comfortable with pull-ups, toes to bar, and double unders.

SCALED – should be comfortable with ALL BB movements @ 95/65. Athletes should also be comfortable for reps of all movements required in the scaled division of the CF open (jumping chest to bar, single unders)
